Position Summary:

Signature Tree Solutions is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in our mission to promote eco-friendly practices in the forestry industry

As the Production Manager, you will be a key member of our management team, responsible for overseeing the financial production and operations of the day. Working directly under the guidance of Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in managing both equipment and personnel to ensure efficient and safe forestry operations. You will be working closely with Operations Manager to align daily operations with the company's goals and strategies.

Duties to include:

  • Oversee daily financial tasks to ensure efficient resource utilization and meet financial

    goals.

  • Lead and supervise a team of 15 to 25 laborers and equipment operators, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Coordinate equipment and personnel for optimal productivity while upholding safety

    standards.

  • Address challenges promptly to maintain smooth operations and minimize disruptions,

    including resolving equipment breakdowns and handling human-related issues.

  • Offer rapid problem solving solutions to uphold efficiency.

  • Guide and support team growth while maintaining their focus on tasks.

  • Maintain effective communication between the team and management.

  • Promote safe practices, sustainable forestry, and operational excellence.

  • Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety meetings, and inspections.

  • Ensure efficient time management throughout operations.

  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing concerns.

  • Manage paperwork completion, track hours, materials, and project progress.

  • Assist in overseeing inventory and equipment maintenance records.

  • Uphold quality control standards to ensure work meets high quality benchmarks.

    Minimum requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Proven experience in forestry operations or related field, with a strong track record in equipment and personnel management.

  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage daily production while optimizing resources.

  • Excellent equipment operation skills and understanding of forestry machinery.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams.

  • Effective problem solving abilities, with the capacity to make decisions under pressure.

  • Ability to facilitate new and current employee trainings

  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work closely with peers, superiors, and subordinates.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of sustainable forestry practices and safety protocols.

  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including working outdoors and lifting heavy equipment when necessary
