Project Summary – 9 Road Fuel Reduction Project (Completed)

Signature Tree Solutions successfully completed the Vegetation Buffer Treatment & Hazardous Tree Removal Project across nine key roadway corridors:

  • White Sulphur Springs Road

  • Whitehall Lane

  • Wall Road

  • Oakville Grade

  • Lokoya Road

  • Redwood Road

  • Mount Veeder Road

  • Upper Dry Creek Road

  • Lower Dry Creek Road

This project encompassed approximately 151 acres of treatment area over 28 miles of roadway, all delivered with precision, efficiency, and full alignment to project specifications.

Execution Overview

Over the course of the project, our team implemented a carefully engineered vegetation management plan developed from detailed field assessments and grid-based planning. Each roadway was divided into treatment grids based on fuel load, terrain, and priority, allowing for a highly organized and effective execution strategy.

All work was completed with exceptional attention to detail, meeting or exceeding all outlined objectives for wildfire fuel reduction and roadside defensible space.

Scope Delivered

Signature Tree Solutions successfully:

  • Established shaded fuel breaks along all designated corridors

  • Completed hazardous tree identification and removal

  • Reduced ladder fuels and excessive vegetation

  • Improved defensible space and fire resilience along roadways

Treatment areas were executed according to specifications:

  • 30 feet from road edge within NOE-approved areas

  • Up to County ROW limits (28 feet from centerline) in restricted or non-NOE zones

All work adhered strictly to approved maps, permits, and environmental considerations.
